One More Murder and We Have a New Record!

KOAT (Albuquerque) Digital Reporter Jaden Torres sent out this tweet after a middle school kid was shot and killed.

The way I and many others read this post, it was almost like Torres was saying “come on folks, one more murder and we can break the record!?”

A number of people pointed out to Torres just how insensitive this tweet came off.

Torres, left the post up, but admitted that he could have worded the post better.

Torres is also busy trying to get his blue check mark from Twitter. You know, because if you don’t have that, well are you really anybody at all?
