CBS Adds More Chiefs

Back in July, FTVLive told you that CBS had named Adrienne Roark the head of the O&O’s.

Well, it now appears that CBS is cutting her job in half.

The network announced that they have hired Jennifer Mitchell, who will also be a boss over the O&O’s.

CBS says that Roark, who is based in New York, is primarily focused on CBS Television Network stations in the eastern half of the country. Mitchell, who will be based in Los Angeles will concentrate on CBS stations in the western half of the U.S. and also the Chicago and Minneapolis-St. Paul markets.

They also hired Tom Canedo who will oversee the CW stations that no one really cares about.

I’m not sure there is any employee that works at a CBS outlet, that ever said, “you know what? We could sure use a few more bosses around here.”

But, that is exactly what CBS is doing.
