I have said this to so many people that I have lost count.

TV news is a very hard business to get into, but it is almost in impossible to be kicked out, once you are in.

FTVLive told back in early 2019 that WHEC (Rochester) parted ways with Weatherman Jeremy Kappell after he made what many thought was a racist comment on the air.

Kappell sued his old station and Mayor of Rochester and used his time off to head to the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021 to show his support for Donald Trump.

You might think that with this kind of track record, Kappell’s TV days were long behind him.

But, as we have said, once you are in, it’s hard to get thrown out.

An FTVLive reader sent a screenshot of what appeared to be Jeremy Kappell doing the weather on WTVQ in Lexington, Kentucky, where apparently they don’t do background checks.
