Sticking Up for the Right-Wing

Fox News media critic Howard Kurtz is sticking up for those on the right that have been downplaying the COVID vaccine and claims that they are not to be blamed.

Kurtz says that with so many people not getting the vaccine it is “not entirely the fault of right-wing pundits & the GOP.”

Yes, it is not “entirely their fault” but they are a big reason. He then adds, “The reasons people resist these life-saving shots are varied and complicated.”

Living here in Florida, I can tell you that I know a number of people that have not gotten the vaccine. All of them are conservative and while talking to them as to their reasons for not getting the shot, every one of them give the same talking points that they heard from someone on Fox News.

While that is hardly a scientific poll, it is the case with 100&% of the unvaccinated people I have met and talked to.

Howie Kurtz can try and stick up for his network and spin it whatever way he wants, but, I can state for a fact, that it is playing a role in people refusing to get the vaccine.

By the way, Florida is leading the way in the new surge of COVID cases.
