Back in April, FTVLive told you that Scripps’ owned KMGH was looking to do something with its downtown Denver studio.

Some residents wanted the building left alone and declared a historical landmark.

KMGH General Manager Dean Littleton said this about the building, “To be blunt, it’s not a nice building in which to work. It is a burden on our staff, our resources and our mission.”

Well, Scripps has now sold the building for $35 million bucks to a developer and will lease back the space as they decide where and when they will move.

Some station insiders think that Scripps maybe looking to leave the downtown area.
