WEEK (Peoria) has bumped up the Deuce to the big chair….

The Quincy station announced that Assistant News Director Leon Hendricks has been promoted to News Director.

“Leon is a valued member of the WEEK news team, with years of experience in our newsroom and in Peoria. That experience made him the right choice to lead our team forward as we continue to provide the best news, weather and sports coverage in Central Illinois”, says Jim McKernan, WEEK-TV VP/General Manager.
