Resurfacing in LA

Back in May of last year, FTVLive told you about the cuts that went down at the CBS stations as the company cut top talent in an effort to save money.

Out in LA, longtime KCBS/KCAL Anchor/Reporter Sandra Mitchell was one of those that CBS kicked to the curb.

Well, just over a year later, Mitchell is about to resurface on the air in LA.

According to an internal memo sent to the staff at Nexstar’s KTLA and obtained by FTVLive, Mitchell starts today as a per diem Reporter at the station.

She is expected to be on the air later this week.
