Well, That Wasn't Much of a Vacation

The plan was that after 7+ years of updating FTVLive each and every day (Weekends and Holidays included) that I would unplug for a few days and take a vacation.

But, that didn’t go as planned and I was still updating FTVLive from my superseded vacation.

Before I left for vacation, I wrote, “While I’m gone, please play nice, don’t get arrested or fired for some crazy reason. Because, if you do, I’ll have to cut my vacation short to report the story.”

Well, KRIV Reporter Ivory Hecker obviously did not get the message and decided to implode her career and embarrass the station and Fox Television in a single;e live shot.

That meant, I was compelled to continue to update FTVLive even when I was supposed to be taking time off.

The good news, the streak lives, as FTVLive has continued to post updates each day for over 7 years and running.

The bad news?

After having my email inbox down to less than 100 unread emails, I check it yesterday to see that it was now over 9,000 unread emails.

So, I know what I’m doing today. I have posted updates below and will post again on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. FTVLive will be back full bore on Monday.

Maybe will try this vacation thing again in the future, because, clearly this time we failed.
