Kari Lake Claims Station Did Hit Piece on Her

Former KSAZ Anchor Kari Lake was pushed out of TV and is now running to be governor of Arizona.

Lake spent 20+ years in the media, but now attacks the profession, often claiming it is full of bias and fake news.

She also claims that she is the most conservative candidate running for governor in Arizona.

But, KPHO Political Reporter Dennis Welch found that Lake and her family donated to John Kerry’s campaign and also to the campaign of Barack Obama.

Lake made the donations under her married name of Halperian and listed her husband’s company, ZenVideo under her occupation.

Lake claimed that Welch was doing a “hit piece” on her.

Lake made these donations while employed as a News Anchor at KSAZ.

it appears that Lake used her husband’s company to get around the policy. She also claimed to Welch that it was her husband that donated to Obama and not her.

Clearly, Lake was not upfront with viewers when she was working at KSAZ and it appears she is not being upfront with voters as she runs for office.
