The News Director Said She Looked Like a Piece of Shit

WFTV Reporter Ashely Edlund claims that when she was getting started out in this business, her News Director said she looked like a “piece of shit.”

She then says that when she was 25 years old, a News Director called her into his office and told her that she would never make it as a Reporter in Market 55.

If my timeline is correct, the News Director she is referring to that called her a “piece of shit” would be Jeff Raker. Sadly, I can’t ask Jeff, who I had talked to a few times about the comment, since the man died in the newsroom back in 2013.
