KTXL (Sacramento) Reporter Rowena Lugtu-Shaddox was covering the mass shooting in the Bay Area where 10 people were killed.

She ran into KPIX Reporter Andria Borba and both put on a big smile for a selfie together.

10 people are dead and these two thought it was a good time to take a smiling selfie and post it to social media?

What the hell?!

According to Lugtu-Shaddox’s LinkedIn, she has been with the Sacramento station for 18+ years.

This is hardly a rookie mistake.

Maybe the News Director at KTXL and KPIX can call in their respective Reporters and explain why taking a smiling picture at the scene of a mass shooting is not the best optics for them or the station.
