The Chris Cuomo Fiasco at CNN
/CNN’s media critic Brian Stelter talked about the Chris Cuomo fiasco on his ironically named show “Reliable Sources.”
It is rare that Stelter will ever talk negatively about anyone or anything at CNN. So, this shows you just how far out of bounds Cuomo was when he decided to join his brother’s (NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo) strategy sessions and offer up advice.
Stelter, who likely got permission from Jeff Zucker, before discussing the Cuomo mess, suggested that Cuomo should have taken a “leave of absence” before joining his brother’s team strategy sessions.
"If Chris Cuomo wants to call into strategy sessions with his brother's aides, shouldn't he take a leave of absence from CNN?" Here's our conversation about the Cuomo brothers from today's @ReliableSources pic.twitter.com/6nk0wbaFGN

Honestly, Chris Cuomo passed so far over the line that he should be fired.
It now seems that CNN management has agreed to give Cuomo 5o lashes with a wet noodle and that includes siccing their media critic on him to make it appear they are doing something.
In the end, Cuomo stays in his job, when he should have been fired for his actions.
