Back on April 20th, FTVLive told you that Nexstar’s News Nation had hired Adrienne Bankert away from ABC News.

It is expected that Bankert will be co-anchoring News Nation’s yet to be launched morning show.

We’re not sure how much Nexstar is paying her, but it seems that Bankert is using her social media to pitch some products on the side.

Bankert is getting money from an eyewear company to help sell some glasses.

This seems to be in violation of Nexstar policy, but since she hasn’t officially started yet, maybe the rules don’t apply to her.

Either way, Journalists should remain Journalists and leave the influencer crap to the Kardashians’
