It's not surprising that New Day ratings are down since Camerota left as she basically was the show. Zucker should've moved Poppy Harlow and Jim Sciutto up earlier onto the show and have Abby Phillip join them as the 3rd wheel/political anchor. Or they simply should've swapped Baldwin with Camerota.

But per usual Zucker ruins everything he touches and now Baldwin is out and John Berman will get devalued in this ratings gash. The talking head-ization of brianna keilar was wrong and now trying to build a new morning brand around her and opinion is another wrong move. Instead of fixing this mess Zucker will stand by it for years too. It's sad to watch poor leadership ruin that network year after year.

The Kenny Mayne story reminds me of how I was unceremoniously cut back to part time, after a decade of full time work at a station where I was generally considered the Number One writer. Asst. News Director, the guy who made out the weekly schedule, says, "You just cost too much!!" Precious. Guy who drives a Mercedes telling me I cost too much. When priorities change that dramatically, you know what's coming. A few months later I was gone.
