Breaking The Rules in Atlanta

Meredith’s WGCL (Atlanta) won a couple of Regional Murrow Awards and they decided to crow about it on social media.

Okay….first, it is the Murrow Awards, which is handed out by the RTDNA. Why the station is including a picture of the Emmy award, who knows?

Second, this is a Regional award, not the national one (those have not been handed out yet) and the RTDNA has guidelines as to how you can promote those award wins, and clearly, WGCL ignored those guidelines.
