About Damn Time....

FTVLive has called out KFOR (OKC) twice for the station’s lack of diversity with their on-air staff.

Last month, FTVLive told you that the station hired Brya Berry, a black female to the news reporting staff. We called it “a start” and urged the Nexstar station continue down the diversity road.

Well, we are happy to report that KFOR is adding Kaitor Kay (pictured) to the staff as well.

Kay comes from WANE in Ft. Wayne and will be anchoring and reporting in Oklahoma City.

“I’m certain that if FTVLive did not call KFOR out, these hirings of two people of color never would have happened,” said one KFOR staffer to FTVLive.

Now maybe crosstown station KWTV can add a bit more diversity to the staff?
