Is Z on the Way Out at CBS

Back in early 2019, CBS announced that for the first time ever, they would have a woman in charge of their news division.

The network announced that senior executive producer of "48 Hours," Susan Zirinsky would be taking over for David Rhodes at the network.

Under Zirinsky, the network continued to stumble and now sources inside CBS say that the network is looking to make a change.

Zirinsky known as “Z” at CBS is well liked, but many inside CBS think that she is in over her head when it comes to running the network’s news division.

Sources inside CBS say they think that CBS will be making a change in the not so distant future. CBS will give Zirinsky “some type of production deal with her to save face” said a source.
