Vegas Anchor Found Naked and Asleep in Her Car

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that KVVU (Las Vegas) morning Anchor Feven Kay had been missing from the station’s air for weeks.

She returned to the air with a message to viewers that she had been arrested for DUI.

Now, details of her arrest are surfacing.

Feven Kiflegiorgis (her real name) was arrested around 7:30 a.m. March 20 after she was found naked and asleep behind the wheel of her Audi, according to the report from the Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Her car was parked in the road. Kiflegiorgis told police she didn’t remember how she got to Matthew Avenue and stumbled out of her car. Officers reported a distinct smell of alcohol coming from her but she declined to submit her blood.

Kiflegiorgis was charged with reckless driving with a disregard for the safety of a person or property and sentenced last Wednesday to a $1,000 fine and driving school.

In her on-air mea culpa, Kay said that she learned her lesson.

But, this isn’t the first time she has had legal trouble with her driving. Back in 2010, her insurance sued her for over $180,000 dollars for an incident in Kern County, California.

Here is her on-air “apology” that was shown during the newscast:
