Word is that Nexstar News Nation boss Sean Compton is looking for some bigger names to join the struggling News Nation network.

Sources say that some Nexstar suits now believe they made a mistake in “hiring a bunch of no-names” to anchor the news on the cable channel.

So, Compton has been looking for some bigger names to hopefully bring some eyeballs to News Nation.

The latest hire is Adrienne Bankert, who is coming from ABC News to anchor at the Nexstar outlet.
