Good Morning Team,

I am reaching out to share some news with you. After 21 years at KING 5, I have accepted a new role outside of TEGNA that will be announced in the coming weeks. Monday, May 3rd will be my last day.

Please know that it has been an honor to be a member of this team, and a privilege to lead KING 5 for the past five years. A debt of thanks is owed to the KING 5 team and TEGNA for the limitless support I have received.

We have accomplished a lot together, but I am most grateful for the camaraderie and friendships we have shared along the way – and that has been especially meaningful to me over the past year. Thank you.

As I wrap up over the next few weeks, I’ll be working on a transition plan with TEGNA (more on that shortly) to ensure that the team is successful while a search for KING 5’s new leader begins. I wish all of you and KING 5 the very best.

With gratitude, Jim
