While many in TV news post picture after picture of themselves on social media to try and feed their giant ego, WKRN (Nashville) Meteorologist Meaghan Thomas took a different root.

Thomas posted a picture of her holding up a couple of hearing aids and they weren’t just any hearing aids, they were her hearing aids.

Thomas has been suffering with hearing loss most of her life and she admits that she can sometimes be self conscious about it.

But, she also knows that are millions that are also hard of hearing and she wanted those people to know that she’s with them and encourages others to embrace what makes you different.

In a business full of vanity and egos, Meaghan Thomas shows that there are some really cool people as well.
