As Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz is under investigation for having violated federal sex trafficking laws by having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female, there are rumors flying that he is looking for a TV gig.

Word is that Gaetz is looking to leave political office and start working in the media.

Not exactly the kind of person the media needs right now, but nothing surprises us anymore.

Gaetz is supposedly talking to Newsmax about coming to work for them.

What about Fox News?

Well, Fox released a statement saying, “No one with any level of authority has had conversations with Matt Gaetz for any of our platforms and we have no interest in hiring him.”

Then again, this is the same network that poo-pooed the reports that former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany would be joining Fox News. Not only did the network hire her, but they also promoted her just weeks after her hiring at Fox.

So, is Matt Gaetz headed to Fox News?

History shows that you shouldn’t bet against it.

Plus, since the network jettisoned Lou Dobbs, they have an opening in the creep department.
