FTVLive FIRST told you that Sinclair’s WJLA General Manager Michael Miller was pushed out on Friday.

Miller was well-liked by many on staff and as Bill Fenshawe came into the station on Monday to run the place, he might have noticed many of the staff were missing from work.

Sources tell FTVLive that a number of staffers called in sick to show their support for Miller.

FTVLive told you that WJLA News Director Cheryl Carson is telling friends that she is worried that she might be the next to be kicked to the curb at WJLA.

Insiders tell FTVLive that since coming to DC, Carson has worked hard to allow more voices to speak in the room including on sensitive topics like racial differences in communities and coverage etc.

“She might be nervous because frankly corporate doesn't seem to like these ideas,” said one station insider.
