CNN Ignores Cuomo Story All Day

“Good evening. Chris Cuomo is off tonight.” That sentence, uttered at 1:02:16 AM Thursday in a re-airing of Wednesday’s Anderson Cooper 360°, is the only time the name “Cuomo” has been spoken on CNN all day.

Despite the fact that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is involved in a number of scandals, including one that involves his brother, CNN host Chris Cuomo, CNN ignored the story all day yesterday.

The Zucker network is so quick to pile on even the slightest slip by Fox News but grows quickly quiet when the story hits close to home.

It is another example of why cable news can’t be trusted when it comes to covering the news.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo has interviewed his brother Andrew a number of times, despite the conflict of interest, but now that the heat is on, Chris Cuomo “is off tonight.”

CNN has handled this awfully and continues to do so.

When it was reported that Chris Cuomo was able to procure very hard to get COVID testing during the start of the pandemic, thanks to his brother Andrew, CNN released this statement:

“It is not surprising that in the earliest days of a once-in-a-century global pandemic when Chris was showing symptoms and was concerned about possible spread, he turned to anyone he could for advice and assistance, as any human being would.”

Basically, CNN is giving a free pass to their egotistical host that bypassed the system because of who he was.

Now, as the scandals against Gov. Cuomo continue to grow, CNN is all but ignoring the story and Chris Cuomo is nowhere to be seen.

This is CNN….
