Gone Again And Back Again

Back in 2017, WCAU (Philly) hired Erika Martin to do weather at the station. The station said that Martin would be the station’s new Certified Broadcast Meteorologist.

But, as FTVLive pointed out at the time that Martin was not a “Certified Broadcast Meteorologist” and either she or the station was trying to pull the wool over people’s eyes.

She was gone from the Philly station within a year.

Martin resurfaced in Santa Barbara in March of 2019 and in March of 2020 she landed a job at Nexstar’s KTVX in Salt Lake City.

The station touted her hiring as the new weekday morning Weather Anchor.

As to where Martin has gone?

Well, this week she popped up doing weather at Fox’s KTTV in LA.

No word if this is full-time or just freelance, but it will be interesting to see if she can make it longer than a year.
