All Hands On Deck Meeting Called in LA Newsroom

Sources at Nexstar’s KTLA have been summoned to an all-hands-on-deck meeting for later today.

KTLA General Manager Janene Drafs sent a quick note to the staff saying:

Hi Team! Please join me tomorrow morning via Zoom for updates in our KTLA News Department. See you then!

 Most think that this will be an announcement as to who the new station’s News Director will be.

Longtime KTLA News Director Jason Ball announced back at the beginning of the year that he was leaving the station and he did so.

Assistant News Director Kerry Brace has been running the newsroom since Ball departed.
