KMGH (Denver) decided to spike the football over their prediction of the big snowstorm that hit the Denver area.

It appears that viewers were calling out the station for blowing the forecast, but in the end the snow did come and the station took a victory lap at the expense of the viewers.

We’ll have to wait and see how they handle it the next time they get it wrong.

Judging by the social media comments and emails Friday night and Saturday morning, a lot of people seemed to lose faith in the forecasting abilities of the Denver7 weather team. @JGonTV gave people the chance to say “I’m sorry” Monday after those predictions became reality. pic.twitter.com/VvGQeByBgL
