Kari Lake: Why I Left
/Some media outlet that I have never heard of called The Western Journal spoke with former KSAZ Anchor Kari Lake about her “resigning” from the Fox O&O.
Lake says that after she posted her video in which she said she was leaving the station, “People saying they were encouraged by the bravery and courage it took to walk away from a successful, lucrative career. Many said they were inspired by the video. A majority expressed satisfaction that somebody inside the media finally stood up to what they have been seeing for a long time — bias and a lack of balance — and did so in a way that put the media on notice.”
“Bravery and Courage”?
Lake said in the video that she had not been proud to be a Journalist for years.
You would think it would have been a bit braver to leave then and not wait years to do so.
Lake went onto say, “I think if journalists were being totally honest they would agree that in most mainstream media outlets right now, it’s very difficult to pitch a story that falls on the conservative side of the political spectrum, but it is perfectly acceptable and expected for liberal stories to be pitched and then eventually produced and aired.”
I can tell you that I have worked in a hell of a lot more TV newsrooms than Kari Lake and that was not the case in any of the newsrooms I was in.
The story was the story, no one cared, or talked about which side of the political spectrum It fell on.
“Hypocrisy, double-standards, bias, misleading coverage are all commonplace in society and newsrooms,” Lake said.
Wow! KSAZ, the station that Lake worked at for decades must really be a crappy station. Because, what Lake is saying about “hypocrisy, double-standards, bias, misleading coverage” is not happening in most TV newsrooms around the country.
I have never seen one person try so hard to get hired by a conservative media outlet as Kari Lake. Let’s hope that all this B.S. she is spouting pays off for her.
