For some reason there are a number of TV news people that feel by putting their Emmy on display during a live hit will impress people.

This morning on Tegna’s WXIA in Atlanta, Traffic Reporter Crash Clark made sure that his Emmy was in the shot.

It was sitting on his stove in the kitchen.

You know….because everyone keeps an Emmy on the stove.

Also, I see WXIA is asking viewers to try and match lyrics to songs on the morning newscast.
