Just No!

Meredith’s WGCL in Atlanta was doing a story about a rape suspect that police were searching for.

The station listed the suspect’s description as “a Black man wearing a ski mask.”

This is such poor journalism. It’s either a man in a ski mask or list out a detailed suspect description. Know how many Black men in Atlanta that could fit that description?

Also, there is still some cold weather in Atlanta, you know how many people could be wearing ski masks? Including Black men.

I’m sorry, but this is insensitive and you would think in a market such as Atlanta, they would know better.
