It's Been 1 Year....
/We have basically hit the 1-year mark for the COVID pandemic here in the United States.
Back on Feb 24th of 2020, I made the decision to stop eating out at restaurants and start making meals at home. This was a huge step for a guy that ate meals out 98% of the time.
I still remember when the pandemic started, I thought it would last a few months. Here we are a year later and I am still mostly staying home and wearing a mask when I do go out.
The vaccine is out there, but I and many others have no idea when it will be available to us.
There is no doubt that this pandemic has changed many of us. I really don’t see myself ever getting on an airplane again without wearing a mask. I’m not sure I want to ever shake hands again.
We keep hearing that we will get back to normal, but the time ranges from April until next year.
I see that the RTDNA is still planning on having its convention in September in Denver. I really hope that is the case and if it is safe to travel, I plan on attending.
Many of you have been impacted by the virus. You lost your job, or worse, you lost a loved one. To all of you, I want to say how sorry I am.
This has been a trying year and it’s still not over. Please continue to try and stay safe, wear your mask, and hopefully, we will see you on the other side.
Now, let’s do some news….
