CNN Changes Tune on The Cuomo's

During the start of the COVID pandemic, CNN host Chris Cuomo brought his brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on the air to talk about the pandemic.

Well, really it was more about joking around and debating which son mom liked best.

It was cringe-worthy at best and unethical to say the least.

Well, now that Andrew Cuomo is under investigation his handling of the pandemic and the elderly In nursing homes, Chris Cuomo has not mentioned the story. In fact for the most part, the entire story is barely being covered by CNN.

While Andrew was appearing on his brother’s show almost regularly, he has not been back on since the nursing home scandal has gained traction.

CNN says that Chris Cuomo is not allowed to interview his brother, despite the fact that he had done so numerous times during the pandemic.

CNN moved the goalposts saying that it was different then as compared to now. "The early months of the pandemic crisis were an extraordinary time," CNN said in a statement "We felt that Chris speaking with his brother about the challenges of what millions of American families were struggling with was of significant human interest," the statement said. "As a result, we made an exception to a rule that we have had in place since 2013 which prevents Chris from interviewing and covering his brother, and that rule remains in place today. CNN has covered the news surrounding Governor Cuomo extensively."

No, CNN has not covered the Andrew Cuomo story “extensively."

Also, it is interesting that when the news is bad for the NY Governor, CNN puts back in place their policy that they ignored months ago.

Just another example as to why you should never trust cable news.
