I kind of liked NewsNation when it started but they’ve switched from being a fast-paced fact-based newscast into doing more opinion and long-form interview programming. I’m sure the new shows hosted by Donlon and Banfield starting next month will make it worse. It was nice to have an actual primetime news show while it lasted; now it’ll be just like the other cable “news” networks.

Oh, and they can’t tell the difference between Bill Cassidy and Lindsey Graham.

WTAE (Pittsburgh) now has a weekend morning meteorologist position posted. Does that mean Cam Tran is on her way out the door? There seems to be a lot of turnover at WTAE (especially in light of the past few years with reporters like Ashlie Hardway, Jackie Cain, Brittany Hoke leaving). I feel like they are constantly losing reporters.

This business has changed so much over the past 10 years and it has not been for the better.
