Signing Off in the Burgh

Longtime WPXI Reporter Amy Marcinkiewicz posted to her social media that she is retiring from the Cox station after 25 years of covering the news in Pittsburgh.

Marcinkiewicz was an old school Reporter where it was about the story and not about her.

Looking at her post, it appears that she has landed another job outside of TV news.

I worked with Amy for just over 4 years and she was the kind of Reporter that showed up, did her job, and went home.

How refreshing is that?
