Philly Station Issues Apology to the Police Department

NBC O&O WCAU in Philadelphia did a story and it included a graphic of the shield of the Philly Police Department.

While on the real shield of the PD it says, “honor, integrity, service”, but that isn’t what the WCAU graphic said:

The station’s graphic replaced “honor, integrity, service”, with “coffee, corruption, donuts.” Needless to say, the Police Chief did not find it amusing.

The station followed up with apology and posted this to their social media:

I don’t know about you, but I have a feeling that WCAU might be seeing an uptick on parking tickets on their news cars.
