I'll Go Along with that....

As many of you know, I am not a big fan of Facebook for so many reasons I’m not going to list them all.

But, at the top of my list is the endless political posts. It like people want to shove their political beliefs down your throat.

That is the main reason you very rarely find me on Facebook.

Marshall McPeek is the Chief Meteorologist for WSYX (Columbus) and it appears that the political posts are getting to him as well.

And he has decided to do something about it.

I like his action and in fact, I’m going to take some action on my own personal Facebook Page. Right now I have 1,618 friends on my personal Facebook page. Today is February 12th, 2021. I also have a few hundred friend requests pending, which I will not accept.

From this point on, when I log onto Facebook (which is not very often) I will unfriend anyone that makes a political post, no matter which side they are on.

I wonder by the end of the year how many “friends” I will have left on my page?

Let the unfriending begin.
