MSNBC Tops Impeachment Coverage

When it comes to the impeachment trial of Donald Trump, MSNBC is the clear winner in cable news.

MSNBC saw a ratings spike with their special coverage of day 1 of the 2nd impeachment trial.

On Tuesday, MSNBC drew 2.3M viewers (vs. FOX News’ 1.8M and CNN’s 1.9M), finishing 1st for the full day (6am-2am), according to Nielsen. Their dayside viewership was up almost 50%.

Tuesday night’s “Rachel Maddow Show” at 9 pm was again the #1 program across all cable telecasts, averaging 4.3M total viewers.

This was the 25th day in a row “Maddow” topped FOX News and CNN.
