Man Arrested after Damaging Photog's Camera
/A news crew from KPIX (San Francisco) were just trying to do their job when some idiot started heckling them. It wasn’t long before he knocked the station’s camera to the ground.
Cops clamped the cuffs of the man, thankfully no one was hurt.
KPIX Reporter Betty Yu posted about the incident with video.
I was doing an interview outside the Metreon in SF tonight. I heard a man heckling us, before he swung at my photog. He knocked the camera to the ground. We’re okay, but rattled. @SFPD came and arrested the man for felony vandalism and misdemeanor battery @KPIXtv @chesaboudin pic.twitter.com/VSuY5AVbbT

Yu posted that the CBS O&O did not provide security to the crew in the field, due to the fact that it was a holiday.
Huh?
I’m sorry, but CBS, with all that is happening in the Bay Area with news crews this is unacceptable.
