Another One Leaving the Business
/You can add longtime WFTV (Orlando) Anchor Nancy Alvarez to the list of that are leaving the TV news business.
Alvarez announced that she is leaving the station next week to join the Florida United Way as the senior vice president of community relations.
She joined the Cox station back in 2010 and is another of the longtime Cox employees that have left or are leaving the company since Apollo has taken over.
WFTV did not take long in announcing that after the November book Kirstin Delgado will be taking Alvarez’s spot on the morning newscast.
Delgado joins WFTV from WINK in Ft. Myers.
