Putting the Lens Cap on in KC

For nearly the past 4 decades, Greg Steele worked as a Photographer/Editor at KMBC-TV in Kansas City.

Co-workers would refer to Steele as Mr. Christmas, due to his positive attitude and his love for the holiday.

Steele decided to retire and the station sent him off in a big way.

They decked the halls at KMBC and it appeared to be Christmas in October as they said goodbye to the longtime staffer.

Steele was blown away by the gesture.
