Illinois News Director Leaves

Word is that after 14 years at the station, WSIL (Carbondale, IL) News Director Jeff Weinrich has left the Atten Media station.

Weinrich started at the station in 2007 as a Producer and worked his way up to the corner office.

“He has been a mentor to many of the reporters and producers who have worked here throughout out the years,” said one station insider to FTVLive.

He not only has left the station, but the TV news business altogether. He has landed as a Marketing/Communications specialist at a local healthcare outlet.
