Another News Nation Original Leaves

Back in March of 2020, FTVLive FIRST told you that KVUE Chief Meteorologist Albert Ramon was leaving the Austin station. We then told you he was headed to the yet-to-be-launched Nexstar News Nation.

Now you can add Ramon to the growing list of News Nation original hires that have left. Nexstar billed Ramon as the Latino chief meteorologist on national television. Now here’s exiting and Nexstar is not commenting.

Ramon follows Rob Nelson out the door.

Nelson and Ramon were two of the first on-air talent hires that were also minorities.

Now they are both gone.
