FTVLive told you that it appears that CBS is looking to pull the plug on Norah O’Donnell’s run as the Anchor of the CBS Evening News.

O’Donnell took the reigns at the Evening News after some say she muscled her way in and took the seat from Anchor Jeff Glor before he barely was settled in.

Glor was solid on Evening News and he was a breath of fresh air in the way he handled himself. No giant ego and no “look at me!”

CBS demoted Glor to the weekend morning, hosting CBS Saturday Morning.

Glor did not whine or stomp his feet, he just went to the weekends and was determined to do the best job he could.

So? How is that going?

Well, CBS sent out a press release saying that Glor’s show CBS SATURDAY MORNING beat “Saturday Today” among the adults 18-48 demo (+16k) for the first time ever since the CBS News broadcast’s debut in 2012, according to Nielsen.

Hmmmmm? Maybe CBS should have stuck with Glor and they might not have to be blowing up the Evening News year again.
