Time For an Update

When Apollo took over the Cox stations, many insiders tell FTVLive that the hedge-fund company started making cuts at the stations.

It appears that some of those cuts were made on the digital side of WSB in Atlanta.

WSB has been the longtime Atlanta blowtorch TV station, but the other stations are starting to see cracks in the armor at WSB.

Looking at the “about us” page at WSB and it appears to be woefully out of date.

A number of people that left the station are still listed on the page. A quick look shows that John Pruitt, Monica Pearson, Jim Strickland, Nicole Carr, and Mike Petchenik are still on the page, despite being gone from the Cox station.

New hires Ashli Lincoln and Elizabeth Rawlins have not yet been added to the page.

Also, Lori Wilson, who anchors the morning show M-F is still listed as the Weekend Anchor and Linda Stouffer who moved off the morning newscast, is still listed as the morning Anchor.

If your “about us” page is going to be so out of date, why bother having the page at all?
