Sinclair to Hold All Hands on Deck Satellite Meeting This Morning

As the Sinclair stations are dealing with the effects of what appears to be a ransomware attack, employees are being asked to report to the station this morning for a satellite conference meeting.

The meeting is set for 9 AM (PST)

Staffers are being told to mask up and report to their “designated department area.”

“DO NOT bring devices from home. DO NOT connect or VPN into the system.” the message sent to employees said.

With email and phone systems down, Sinclair is using this mandatory satellite conference to inform the staff as to what is happening and how they expect to deal with the attack?
