After nearly 40 years doing news, KHQ (Spokane) Anchor Dan Kleckner says that this is his last week at the station.

He spent a dozen years as the station’s sports director before moving over to the news side.

Back in 1997, he teamed up on the news desk with Stephanie Vigil and the two have been anchoring the news ever since.

But that ends this week, when Kleckner leaves the station to, according to him, work on his golf game.
