All About Me...

WFLA (Tampa) Reporter J.B. Biunno has seen his social media flowers grow as he has been working on the media-obsessed Gabby Petito/Brian Laundrie.

Some inside the Nexstar station think that Biunno has made the story as much about him, as he has about the subjects of the story.

It does seem that Biunno has crossed the line with posts like this one from this past weekend, in which he boasts about hanging out with the Petito family and even posted a picture of himself sitting down at a restaurant with the family.

In case you didn’t know which one was Biunno, he’s the one waving to the camera.

It’s not like a Journalist has gone to a meal or spent time with a subject’s family before. But, when you start posting pictures of you waving while sitting with the family, I think most of us would agree, you’re over the line.

The fact that management at the Nexstar station hasn’t pointed this out and reigned in their “all about me” Reporter is a bit more concerning than the posts.

People inside the station are questioning what is happening?
