You hear about it all the time in sports, the athlete “played hurt.”

Well, I guess that goes for Sports Anchors as well.

Andrew Fillipponi, an afternoon radio host on Pittsburgh sports radio station, also serves as a sort Sports Anchor on CBS’s KDKA-TV sports/

Yesterday afternoon, Fillipponi went on the air and said he was unable to open his right eye. He claimed that he "got soda " in his eye and for the 3-minute sportscast was unable to open it.

He did not say how he guy an eye full of soda.
