Yesterday, FTVLive FIRST told you that Quincy Media was putting their stations up for sale. Actually, we tipped you off in November that this was going to happen.

When FTVLive FIRST reported on November 10th that Quincy was looking to put out the for sale sign, a number of staffers at Quincy stations approached management asking about the FTVLive story?

They were told there was “nothing to it (the FTVLive story).

Yesterday, the “nothing to it was confirmed in a memo to the staff”

FTVLive also FIRST told you that Meredith was looking to put their stations up for sale and word is that the “for sale” sign has been hung out at 4 of their stations.

The struggling Meredith is looking to sell KMOV (St. Louis) WNEM (Saginaw), WALA (Mobile), and WGGB (Springfield, Mass).

Also, don’t be surprised if Gray doesn’t make a play for WGCL in Atlanta.
