Fudging the Facts are Bit Are We?

KYTX in Tyler, TX sent a tweet saying they talked to Sen. Ted Cruz the day after the Capitol riots...

The station says that "In an interview with CBS19…”

When you click on the web story it starts by saying:

But, when. you watch the story on the KYTX website, the bug in the upper left hand corner says KHOU.

In other words, Cruz talked to the Houston stations and not the tiny station in Tyler, Texas.

Yes, both stations are owned by Tegna, but it does not appear that Cruz sat down with your station like you claimed.

Then again….. This is Tegna.

By the way, the story (whoever did it) shouldn’t be Cruz reacting to what Trump said or did. It should be how for days, Ted Cruz objected to the election results, based on lies with no chance to succeed in overturning the vote and how HIS behavior was a contributing factor in the riot at the U.S. Capitol.

That was the obvious story, but Tegna didn’t cover that part of it, whether it was done in Houston or Tyler.
